Pygopristis gibbosus, Starks 1913:17, Pl. 3 [Leland Stanford Jr. Univ. Publ., Univ. Ser. Market at Pará, Brazil. Holotype: SU 22226. Paratypes: (several) AMNH 3932 (2), SU 22222 (9). Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:26. •Synonym of Pristobrycon calmoni (Steindachner 1908) -- (Jégu in Reis et al. 2003:188). Pristobrycon calmoni (Steindachner 1908).
